In 1978 and 1979 South African Kork Ballington campaigned works 250’s and 350’s for Kawasaki and sweeping away the competition claimed consecutive double world championships. In celebration of this feat Kawasaki produced a Z250A in ‘Kork Ballington Replica’ livery.

I have managed to find a couple of images from the ‘net and also in the summer of 2013 a set of ‘new, old stock’ tank and plastics came up on eBay and was snapped up no doubt by a happy restorer somewhere in the UK.

The difference from the stock Z250A seems to be mainly cosmetic with changes to the paintwork and some black engine detailing. If you have any more info or pictures I’d love to add them.
