More than 35 years after buying my first motorcycle I acquired my first Kawasaki.
The frame number was KZ250B 0003** and I started trawling the ‘net looking for info with the aim of getting a V5 registration. I soon realised how little information there is on this model.
www.howmanyleft.co.uk shows only 6 on the road and 2 off the road registered with the DVLA. Only 39 registered in the UK at the highest point.
I’m pleased to say my large box of bits DOES include an engine!
I was talking about the bike with a friend and he had a memory of a special edition to commemorate Kork Ballingtons double world championship. I did some research and you can read more here
A setback registering my bike means it will have to wait a while in a long queue of other projects including a Honda VT500 Cafe Racer project, a Lotus Excel car and a couple of pinballs! Details of any (slow) progress can be found on my 3rdrevolution project page.
